So....I had a VERY eventful weekend...
started off with some maintenance on the bikes. Air filters, oil filter and oil for both of them (I count friday as my weekend)

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

After that I took the BMW out for a nice, long ride

Kinja'd!!!

Saw some K-roll bait

Kinja'd!!!

Then I saw someone driving long with a flat tire. sjhe had no idea she had one (fucking people man....) offered to help her change it. As I was changing it, she leaned on the hood and rocked the car. result:

Kinja'd!!!

I just left and let her deal with it. I’m not helping someone who tried to kill me pretty much.

After which, I had my first few days teaching motorcycle riding! I was fortunete enough to snapp a spot at our honda location (the parking lot of Honda’s international head quarters) and just inside the front door, this awaited me:

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

oh baby. That was SWEET! And we did have more dropped bikes then we would have liked (like...quite a few more) and we had to send someone home, the rest of the students past! Its a GREAT feeling to see from one day to the next how much those guys learned. Cant wait for my next weekend there.

I need to keep this photo to show to those idiots that think they can do major work on their cars using the scissor jack. I’ve seen people crawl under cars only propped up with these things.

So did you just have to tell people “I don’t think you can really handle this. You should leave.”?

I tend to ride my bike hard(er) then I really should.

Now, my dads BMW on the other hand...you could feed a family with those strips :D

we did actually. One women...little older, had some sort of tremor, dropped a grom Twice on the first day and almost ran it off the lot the second day. Had no clutch/throttle control what-so-ever. After the third accident, we pulled her aside. Turned out she was on some sort of medication. but would NOT tell us what it was. She was fine on a scooter, but she didnt want to ride them because ‘they are wimpy’

In the end, she simply was NOT safe on a bike. So we told her we dont feel comfortable signing her M2 and if it was REALLY something she wanted to do. In the end, she choose to leave. Which I think was the smart decision

Reminds me of this gem from forums. Changing both tyres on a side with a scissor jack. A 2 ton trolley jack and axle stands aren’t even that expensive...

That was the only picture I could find of a single chicken strip.

Makes sense. I’m really curious to see how my classes go in June. I know nothing like that will happen to me, but it’d be amusing to see something ridiculous happen (assuming nobody got hurt).

Its showing me the air filters. not great tires :D

The Q3s. I like them. grip great, handle well, pretty good in thew wet actually. but they dont really last....I get about 8k miles out of a rear. I might try michilen power roads next.

Yeah, I guess that I got Kinja’d but you did answer my question. Thanks. Last sport bike I owned, I ran a similar tread pattern Dunlop. Never did much wet riding with it because I was afraid of lack of traction.
